Advance on trivia karaoke night in Spag

A trivia and karaoke event will be hosted by PAC in Spagnuolo Hall this Saturday, the 13th, at 7 p.m.

Students can put together teams of their own, no greater than four, and the questions will be in Kahoot style. The winning team of the trivia portion of the night will win 20 pub points each.

Teams can also be created for the karaoke segment as well. A karaoke machine will be raffled off as a prize to an attending

student.

“Everyone loves trivia and it gives everyone a chance to sing it out,” said Haley Weeks, PAC’s secretary, in a Facetime interview.

There will also be mock tails, virgin cocktails, available to students Saturday night.

“PAC has never held an event quite like this where it was trivia and karaoke combined. We are hoping it is a big hit,” said Weeks.

PAC has held a variety of events this spring including Bingo Nights, Sun Fest, Glow with the Flow Party, and much more.

The Pierce Activities Council (PAC) meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Monadnock Lounge. All students are welcome to join.

 

 

 

 

There is a crisis of trust in journalism right now.

Many Americans say they don’t trust the news media anymore, and poll after poll shows that they want newspapers to be more transparent about how the news is gathered.

This semester the Exchange is asking its reporters to describe what they did to report the facts, in what we’re calling a transparency statement. We ask our readers to feel free to use the comment boxes at the bottom of each article to call them out when the reporters may not have done enough and to compliment them when you think they’ve done a good job.

While writing this article, I made sure to get the most accurate information that I could. Haley Weeks is a very involved and active member of PAC and knows all the information about the events. I did both an over the text and Facetime interview with her as she met with PAC and gained more information on the event.
