Rapper pushing against Arab citizen ballot boycott in Israel

Rapper Tamer Nafar, from near Tel Aviv, released a song to encourage Arab citizens to vote in the Israeli parliamentary elections, according to the NY Times.

The song is called “Tamer Must Vote.” His goal is to inspire the “1.8 million Arab citizens” to resist the boycott of the Israeli parliamentary elections.

The music video has a hundreds of thousands of views already.

Nafar desires to “stop the fascists that have won in Israel” he was quoted as saying.

The Israeli parliamentary elections are on Tuesday, April 16th.
