The Psychology Club held its yearly election of officers for the 2020-2021 school year.

The winners were Alex Collins for President, Preston Warren for Vice-President, Aliyah Sonnier for Treasurer, Phoenix Blodgett for Secretary, and Carley Roy for Student Government Senator.

Warren said he is “anxious to begin planning new club events and to continue the tradition of the weekly “What Made You Happy?” check-ins. He also said that he loves the fact that everyone has a say in what takes place in the club and on the topics that are presented each week.

Roy was excited to once again tackle the club’s position of SGA Senator. She feels the club’s biggest accomplishment this year was getting it off the ground and maintaining a steady and active membership. She said, “ I feel honored to be part of the Franklin Pierce community and I look forward to improving student experiences throughout this year”.

Psychology club meetings are held every Monday in Marcucella 124 at 7 p.m. All are welcome.

How I got this story: I interviewed two of the winners of the recent Psychology club elections. I met up with Carley and Preston to conduct the interviews. I had questions written out before hand and recorded the interviews to look back at the information. I also got their contact information in case I needed to contact them again with any further questions.
