Firebomb explodes at police station near holy site

A firebomb thrown at a police station at Jerusalem’s most sensitive holy site forced Israeli police to close off all entrances, according to New York Times.
Police began engaging with many Palestinians within the area of the attack to identify potential suspects. Three individuals were brought in and labeled as prime suspects.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas stated that there would be “serious repercussions” for whoever executed the attack. Additionally, he called for the international community to intervene.
The holy site is a common point of violence for Judaism and Islam. It is referred to as the Temple Mount by the Jews and the Noble Sanctuary by the Muslims.
There were no deaths or injuries due to the firebomb however police were seen at one point wrestling a woman to the ground.
