Little hope for independence of Palestine.

The re-election of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu signals no hope for the Palestinian state, according to The New York Times.
The right-wing prime minister, Netanyahu, was re-elected for the fifth time. With the results from the election, Palestinians’ dream to become independent seems to be further and further away. However, Netanyahu promised to address the issues between Palestine and Israel.
According to Abdulkhaleq Abdulla, a political scientist from the United Arab Emirates, there is very little the Arabs can do in this situation. He said, “It closes all doors for any possible peace settlement and any chance for the Palestinians to have a state of their own.”
