The Kurdsih people feel betrayed now that the U.S. is leaving Syria, according to the BBC.

On Kurd said, “Trump has no honor,” according to the BBC.

For Kurds who are in eastern Syria, the departure of the U.S. military means they are on their own again.

The Kurdish people in eastern Syria now have the Turkish president on one side and the Syrian Government on the other. Neither of which have been known to be friendly with the Kurdish people.

“Now the U.S. is leaving, Kurds here are convinced they have no friends other than the mountains they inhabit,” the BBC said.

The Kurds have been fighting steadily since they were attacked by IS in 2014. Now they face the threat of the Turkish government who view the Kurds as an enemy.
