FPU volleyball dominates in must-win to keep playoff hopes alive

Cheering and skin slapping leather echoed through the Fieldhouse while the FPU volleyball team faced off against rival Southern New Hampshire University on November 12th. FPU fans came out in numbers and created an electric atmosphere to help the team with a must- win game to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The Ravens completed a sweep of SNHU defeating them 3-0 with the dominance of the two middle hitters, senior Abigail Garnhart and freshman Ingrid Lindstrom. The two combined for 21 kills throughout the contest which was 46% of their total offense. The performance from the middle hitters and the constant hollering from the FPU fans caused SNHU to play on their heels all night long, being outhit and out blocked by the Ravens.
To finish the season, the Ravens take on Assumption College back at home for their senior day match. This is another must win for the Ravens, but if they receive the same support from the fans like Tuesday night, chances are it won’t be the final match of the season
