Slice of Life: Library, not so lit.

On Fridays, the library is where you can find very few students printing, typing, reading, studying or just sitting on their phones.

Students travel in and out of the library but not very many come to stay during mid-day. You will find that many students come to the library to just print and then leave.

“The library is usually a pretty busy place,” said Library Access Services Manager, Jill Wixom “The evenings are usually the busiest from 6 P.M. – 10 P.M.”

Downstairs in the lounge of the library was much quieter.

I noticed students go downstairs to access the desktops or use their own laptops to do work while in a more comfortable and relaxing workspace.

The main attraction is the many printers that are available for students whether on you’re upstairs or down.

Not much goes on in the library on Fridays other than the loud sounds of printers at work.
