As many of us are tethered to our homes erratic eating is wreaking havoc according to LA times.

From foraging through the pantry for potato chips or nursinga tub of rocky road while freaking out at the news, Staying home can have its perks.
“My clients are calling it the covid-20,” said Ashley Koff, registered dietitian. Staying healthy should be on everyones agenda during this pandemic as it can be the best way of fighing the virus if you contract it.
Foods that you should be eating including Protein – dense snacks that will support your health for example like nuts, seeds, dehydrated kale chips, and meat sticks. Another tip they provide is to plan snacks just as you would plan meals. Also a great tip they provide is to watch the sugar intake. Listen to the World Health Organization’s recommendations on sugar intake but skim some off the top. “The WHO says six teaspoons a day of added sugar is acceptable for adults,” said Koff.
It is essential that people maintain a very healthy diet so their chance of contracting the virus and having extreme symptoms is lessened by keeping their immune system strong.
