Hope has been spreading around the world as many people come together by staying apart. Countries have been ordering their people to stay home to prevent the spread of the virus. This has given people time to find their creative outlets.

Italy has been in a country-wide lockdown forcing the public to stay home. This hasn’t stopped everyday activities from happening. Singers have joined together on their balconies to help morale support to those stuck in their homes.

It doesn’t stop in Italy. In Spain, a fitness instructor led an apartment building in exercises by holding a class on a low roof in the middle of the apartment building. This allowed anyone to join in from their balcony while staying away from others.

In London, medical students are helping professionals with their household chores while they are at hospitals. With most schools closing, many teachers, such as an art teacher in Tennessee has been live-streaming for students stuck at home.

There has also been a new trend worldwide called “caremongering.” This has been people showing their kindness to anyone they can. “Two New Yorkers amassed 1,300 volunteers in 72 hours to deliver groceries and medicine to elderly and vulnerable people in the city.”

Hope hasn’t only come from other people. The people of Venice have seen a huge improvement in the quality of a canal running through the city. Those who can see the canal have been able to see fish in the normally murky water.
