Newsbrief: A checklist of items to survive Covid-19 at home
by Zack Brundage
Surviving Covid-19 at home isn’t difficult if you are properly prepared with several important items according to Wired.
While food, water, and medication are obvious supplies the website offers some less thought of ideas. Noise cancelling headphones should be available at an essential location with young children present. Upgrading your home’s internet, router and webcam are other technical ideas to facilitate the home office.
Wired provides items that are NOT needed including dehydrated food, excess toilet paper and face masks. “Wearing a face mask does offer some protection from Covid-19, but you’re better off washing your hands instead of buying them in bulk.”
Many companies are offering discounts on their products like Google, Microsoft, Postmates and Zoom. These discounts help provide entertainment to families looking for things to do.
Experts agree that staying at home, along with practicing social distancing, are the best means to get past the Covid-19 pandemic.
