Newsbrief: Iraq protesters cause chaos in Capital Baghdad

Iraq protesters blocked the main roads in the Iraqi capital, on November 3 according to the BBC.
Since the beginning of October, thousands of people have been taking part in protests calling for, the need for more jobs, an end to corruption, and better services.
A Tahseen Nasser, 25-year-old protester said, “We decided to cut the roads as a message to the government that we will keep protesting until the corrupt people and thieves are kicked out and the regime falls.”
More than 250 protesters have been killed by security forces.
In the city of Kut, south of Baghdad there have been similar protests. Government offices and schools were shut down in a number of towns further south.
Security forces have been positioned along the bridges in the city to fire tear gas at protesters.
Abdul Mahdi, became prime minister over a year ago, providing developments that have not occurred.
Since the start of October protests have intensified and spread across the country.
