Jesse L’ Heureux is a stand out athletic trainer who wants to impact students lives on campus.

L’ Heuruex grew up wanting to be an athlete but he also wanted to work in the medical field as a doctor. He is currently an athletic trainer working on his 5th year now.

The Mens’ Basketball team recently had a rough practice, one of the players rolled their ankle, and contacted Jesse L’ Heuruex to come see the situation. L’ Heuruex had the player wrap his ankle with a badges that had ice on it. After, the player had his ankled wrapped, he had him rest his ankle on the table and proceeded to massage the wound so that the blood is flowing through his foot.

Today, L’ Heuruex was continuing to help the injuried player by still doing the recovery proceeders. ” The way Jesse commuicates with the players and coaches is truly is inspiring to me as is co worker. He really connects with a lot of people in his compassionate way,” said Ben Kosteva, athletic trainer for Men’s Lacrosse.

One of L’ Heuruex favorite things to do while working on campus is the athletes that come from around the world. ” What I love the most is the athletes from different places the world, learning from them feels sweet.”
