What to do while stuck inside

 by Joshua Labrecque

There are many things that you can do at home during quarantine if you are bored and can’t think of anything, according to The LA Times, USA Today, and Psychology Today.

The LA Times interviewed writers about what they do at home during these times. They said these are things that include going outside of you home, inside your home and both physical and mental exercise. These include going outside and working on plants and fixing up your room to make it look good for yourself.

Sandra Navarro said you stay connected to the fashion world if do so. She said, “In the coronavirus era, your inner fashionista can still shop favorite stores, explore brands and learn new skills.”

USA Today said that there are ideas that keep you occupied if you like being creative. They offer downloading apps that keep you of interest such as duolingo. They said, “ Teach yourself a foreign language.” They suggest this to distract you from whats going on in the real world. Other things they said to do are  doing a puzzle, starting a blog, and creating poetry.

Psychology today finally suggests that you should phone up or text a friend. Kyle D Killian said, “I’m recommending that you call, text, FaceTime, or Zoom someone you haven’t spoken to in a while. I texted a high school friend yesterday and the jokes picked up where they left off.” He said it’s a great opportunity to reconnect with friends.

All these articles give you endless options of what to do during quarantine at home even. If you have trouble thinking of things to do look up online what to do. It is a good way to keep you sane during these crazy times.

J2 student Joshua Labrecque is adjusting to online learing though this time of crisis. I am adjusting by making sure the college kids get all the info they need to be content and safe.
