Robert Kraft and the New England Patriots have lent a helping hand to assist front line coronavirus workers, according to the New York Post, Mass Live, and CNN.

Yesterday, April 2, the Patriots team travel plane landed in Boston from China with a vast array of medical supplies and protective equipment.

The cargo consisted of 1.2 million N95 masks. There is another shipment of a half-million masks scheduled to land within the next couple of weeks.

The operation was “probably the most challenging operation our organization and team ever had to do,” Kraft told CNN Thursday night. “There was a lot of red tape, but a lot of people cooperated.”

With New York having the largest daily death toll, Robert and Jonathan Kraft not only purchased 1.4 million masks for their home state, but purchased an additional 300,000 N95 masks for New York alone.

“I personally have a deep affection for all the citizens of New York City,’’ Kraft told Bruce Beck from NBC-TV earlier on Thursday. “I just thought it might be cool if the owner of the New England Patriots is doing whatever he can to help Jets and Giants. This is a gift of ours, these 300,000 masks and the transportation, to the people of New York.’’

The cargo for New York is currently en route. State police from across New England are escorting the load.

Lo Jackson Jr. is doing well. Washing his hands more than usual now. Making an adjustment to classes online wasn’t easy but its getting there!
