SISTUHS club had a successful turn out at Bingo night this past Friday, October 25 with roughly 170 students in attendance, with hundreds of dollars spent on prizes and something special for the grand prize.

SISTUHS made this bingo night extra special with the grand prize of a yeti cooler that can hold up to 15 cans. With the retail price of at $200, students said it was definitely worth it to spend an hour down in Spagnuoglo hall with a vigorous game of bingo between roughly 170 students.

SISTUHS provided 10 different prizes with fan favorites of Air Pods, and board games. Gift cards from Dunkin, North Face, Panera, gas card, and more were also offered.

Alicia Berry, assistant director of Student Involvement, attended this event and said, “This one has to be the biggest turn out so far this year, SISTUHS truly know what their peers want to see as prizes.”

Transparency statement: With a convergent student coming along with me to my field reporting at the bingo event October 25 helped me learn a lot. She brought up some things they I wouldn’t have thought of. For example she told me to take down the emails of everyone I talked to even though I didn’t get a quote from all those people, because they would know the extra details of what happened throughout the night. Also when I wanted to take a picture of the whole room she told me to back up and turn my phone sideways so I can get everyone in the shot. With myself backing up it also blurs everyone’s faces little so I wouldn’t have to take everyone’s names down for a photo credit.
