The Gamers Clubs’ expectations were blown away by their turnout on November 15th, 2019.

Junior and vice president Stephen Cinquegrano expected roughly 20 people to attend the event, but in reality 30 people came to compete in Super Smash Bros, chowing down on some Mozzarella sticks, nachos, and jalapeño poppers.

Cinquegrano rose to the task to make sure that everyone had fun and that the event ran smoothly.

“A big highlight would be how excited everyone was for the raffle,” said Cinquegrano. “It was really fun.”

After a brutal Super Smash Bros Ultimate match senior Joseph Harrity defeated senior Tyler Comeau for third place. “This was one of my most stressful and challenging matches that I have ever done because Tyler and I are evenly matched,” Harrity said.

A highlight of the Super Smash Bros Tournament was the ultimate prize, a Nintendo Switch. Senior Julius Peel won the raffle and was visibly excited.
