Lakeview apartments get ready for the winter weekend ahead.
A group of girls living in a Lakeview apartment are preparing for the holidays. They were watching a Christmas movie called “Knight before Christmas” to get into the holiday spirit. Some of the girls were washing dishes and cleaning up for a Thanksgiving dinner happening later in the night.
This weekend is filled with the Christmas spirit, many students bought “ugly sweaters” as a tradition throughout the school.
This weekend is a traditional ‘winter weekend’ where there will be parties at the Lakeview apartments since majority of the students that live there are over the age of 21. In the past there have been issues with a common sources of alcohol down at Lakeview. These new adjustments have some students upset.
Senior Alexsa Asta said, “Communal source will be dumped out due to the regulations of the school.”
With the holidays so close the semester is also coming to a close. This has students working on many papers and projects.
Senior Hannah LaTorraca said, ” I’m excited for the weekend, but I’m really stressed out about all the papers I need to finish.”
