Sincerely Yours and Milfoil draw a crowd for a night of live music

Two bands comprised of Franklin Pierce students, Sincerely Yours & Milfoil, played the Jaffrey VFW this past Saturday, Drawing 40 local residents and students.

Sincerely Yours is a duo made up of John Grenier and Madison Leslie, and Milfoil’s members are Alex Wentworth, Joe Wiley, Josh Giaquinto, Peter Borzellino, and Jack Hellman

The bands have been promoting this event for a little under a month since its organization, trying to encourage as many people to come as possible.

Both bands had covers which the crowd could sing along with and played several originals to promote their works. Sincerely Yours focused on acoustic guitar with vocals, while Milfoil switched up the energy with an “alternative Emo-punk” said member Josh Guaquinto

Junior Jack Hellman said, “I think it’s important to support local bands. There are often a lot of artists who need or deserve the support putting themselves out there into the world.”

It cost five dollars to get into the event, and with the amount of people buying food and drinks, the entry cost may have been removed as some students reported being able to get in for free.
