Day In The Life: Students enjoy blasting music on safe rides

The clock turned 10:00 p.m., the students came out of hibernation thanks to safe rides ran by SGA no one has to walk to Lakeview in the cold.

The shuttle took its curve around the bubble to the towers shuttle stop. The class of 2022 was responsible for driving and checking bags for the night. Sophomore, Lilly Collon’s was driving and Sophomore, Samantha Grodan was checking bags and recording how many people came on the shuttle for that night.

Sophomores were blasting 1990’s hit songs when we would stop at all the shuttle stops. The stops went from Monadnock, Edgewood, Mount View, Cheshire, Pub, and then Lakeview and students smiled as they saw the drunk bus come around the corner.

“No Diggity” by Dr. Dre and Blackstreet came on as the shuttle pulled into Lakeview. The driver slowed down at the Lakeview bus stop and multiple football players started to jump and dance when they heard the songs. The boys ran up the step to come join the fun of the safe rides.

The driver said, “okay where is everyone going?”

The boys said in unison said, “the pub.”

The driver shuts the doors and Samantha Grodan recorded the amount of people and the destination.

The driver pulled up to the pub shuttle stop and opened the door. The football players piled out of the bus and walked into the pub, the driver closes the door and said
