On a typical afternoon you can find the Dance Studio vacant or find students, like Senior Jaelyn Blair and Senior Marcus Harrison, working on their choreographing for dance class.
The Dance Studio was emptied, which gave students a free and judgement free, and open space to work on their routine or dancing skills.
The Dance Studio is busy from Tuesday to Thursdays from 9:25 a.m. to 10:40 a.m and 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., but is open to for student use Monday through Friday. This allows students who are in dance class to work on their choreography at anytime.
Blair said, “I really like the fact that our school keeps the Dance Studio open for any student who needs to work on their dance piece for class or for people who want to improve their dance skills.”
Blair and Harrison were working on their choreography so they can present their dances to class on Tuesday.
Harrison said, “Jae and I have been here working very hard on our choreography for our dance class on Tuesday.”
Blair adds to Harrison’s comments. “We are working at the moment on getting the timing on point and the steps right,” Blair said.
