CAPSTONE PROJECT: Day In The Life Of A Division 2 Player

In this Daily vlog, you will get to see the daily lifestyle of a collegiate athlete at the division 2 level. People will be able to see the intensity of our practice schedule, the way we spend our time outside of basketball and most importantly, preparing for gameday. The game that you will see in this vlog is against Saint Anslems University. This is one of the biggest games for our season due to them being a huge rival team of our for the last 7 years.

The intensity of our practices and game preparation is magnified due to our rivalry. Saint Anslems is usually a top 3 school team in the NE-10 and so is Franklin Pierce. The fact that both of our schools is in New Hampshire, makes both teams compete the most due to wanting to be the top team in New Hampshire. In this Vlog, you will also see the electrifying atmosphere that takes place during these games. Hundreds and hundreds of fans and school supporters come out from both schools to support their teams and to give them that extra boost to make them victorious. You will get to see the intensity of the coaches and their passion for wanting to win this rival game. Finally you will be able to see how teams face adversity and the things that they have to do in order to overcome those obstacles that is placed in front of them. I hope you guys enjoy the vlog and get a chance to fully understand the daily lifestyle of a collegiate athlete.

    I think you did a great job on this. You show what you do during your routine and I think that is important for your future. You want to show future employees how hard working you are. You showed them in this video. You also did a great job witht the editing, voice over and music. You should be proud of what you made.

    This was amazing! the vlog is really going to make people step into your shoes and see what it’s really like to be a college athlete and see what it’s like behind the scenes and that their is more to being an athlete than playing games. you were able to show people the type of motivated and hard working person you are through the vlog as well as demonstrating the winning culture your team has by showing the intensity of practice.     I really liked how you started your video. It gave quite an emphasis on the seriousness and the journey that you’ve been on. The editing was done really good, from audio selection to shot and sequences, I thought you timed it up great. I also thought you did a great job of showing the reality of what life is like. Showing both the good times and hard work inolved. This project is good too showcase a great amount of skills. Whether you choose to go into some type of videography or editing field, or even basketball. Most importantly shows you know how to convey a story and a message. Gaining people’s interesting and keeping it, is a very important skill in any field. I believe with this project you thoroughly demonstrated all your skills as an athlete, student, and having speciality within communication. Great work and hope that all of these experiences help you achieve your goals in the future.
